Atlantic Racing made its debut on the racing scene in 2002 as a Formula Renault one-car team run by Ingo Strackerjan, and his son Luca as a driver.

The team made a successful debut at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montréal in June 2003, finishing the race and showing early signs that they will be a team to watch.

Atlantic Racing Team has also been involved in FBMW USA since the inception of this series in North America. Atlantic Racing Team has fielded multiple car entries and had European/German FBMW “Guest” drivers Federico Montoya (COL), Dominik Jackson (UK) and Tobias Hegewald (FRG) in 2004/05.

Atlantic Racing Team is now set on a path to build itself a reputation that highlights teamwork, integrity and a tenacious desire to succeed.
